Order Fulfillment Associate

Description:

An Order Fulfillment Associate’s main responsibility at Opal is data entry. The associate enters purchase orders into the internal tracking system, and creates sales orders in the Great Plains system, as well as checks them for accuracy. Any routing requests or freight arrangements are to be completed by the associate as needed either on customer specific sites or via email. The associate is responsible for pulling bills of lading or other shipping paperwork from various sources to be used in the invoicing process, and check it for accuracy against the original order. This should also be used by the associate to send advance ship notices to customers as required. Invoices will be created by the associate in Great Plains (either from scratch or as a transferred sales order). The associate will also be expected to complete the following tasks, including (but not limited to) customer reporting, communication with customers clients on order related issues, and management of current inventory as it relates to order fulfillment. Finally, the associate must independently keep themselves knowledgeable about all client/customer information, and all processes internal and external.

Account Services Associate

Description:

The Account Services Associate will assist with departmental functions as well as the ongoing administrative requirements of The Opal Group's clients. The functions of this position would include assisting in insurance set up, maintaining state registration information, maintaining client corporate documentation, assisting with the maintenance of the clients. broker and other contracts, completing customer paperwork on behalf of the client, and assisting with the organization and prioritization of client requests.

Description:

The Production Planning and Procurement Associate, working in concert within the Supply Chain group, is accountable for supporting production planning, procurement activities and general supply chain activities within the Opal Group and their clients. Additionally, any activities which support the continued and successful operation and initiatives of the Opal Group as needed.

Trade Deductions Supervisor

Description:

The Trade Deduction Supervisor role is responsible for resolving clients' customer deductions and trade payments in an efficient and timely manner while identifying trends in customer behavior and assessing areas for improvement. This role will identify and resolve all types of deductions, including cash discounts, trade promotion expenses, damages and credits, and owns the financial integrity of all deduction-related transactions. He or she will understand the impact of such deductions on revenue, the income statement, and the balance sheet. Major responsibilities include root cause analysis, validation, resolution and reporting of all customer deductions. He or she will assist Accounting in developing and assessing the reasonableness of trade promotion, damage, cash discounts and other accruals. This position also supports Sales and works closely with internal and external customers to ensure the prompt resolution of customer deductions. The Trade Deduction Supervisor must be able to effectively lead a team of deduction processors, communicate with clients, as well as across departments, and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing problems and coming up with solutions.

Accounts Receivable Associate - Invoicing and Collections

Description:

The Accounts Receivable Associate position will focus on invoicing and collections. Primary responsibilities involve the preparation of customer invoices as well as collection of payments from customers across multiple clients. This includes, but is not limited to, issuing customer invoices, contacting past due customers for collections via email or phone, maintaining up to date customer contact information, issuing customer statements, and various other accounting duties as assigned.

Supply Chain Associate

Description:

The Supply Chain Associate position is accountable for supporting the supply chain activities for The Opal Group and client companies. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, functions include inventory record keeping, warehouse management, invoice reconciliation, import and export logistics, US-customs clearance, freight coordination, freight claims, production planning, co-packer management, procurement of raw materials, special projects, and prospective client interaction.
